How long have you been in business?
The idea for Caphyon was formed in the fall of 2002. We saw a niche that needed to be filled: a company that focuses exclusively on high-quality, affordable software. With a 400 square foot office, two employees, and a $5,000 family loan, Caphyon was born, and went online on December, 2002.>
That first year was an exciting time. All aspects of the company were being created from scratch, company functions and procedures were being developed, and our customer base skyrocketed at a rate that surpassed even the most optimistic projections.
By the end of its first year, Caphyon had grown to the point that the small office was no longer adequate, and in July 2003 the company moved to a larger facility. Those two employees now work with an entire team of software engineers trained to help the company continue to move forward.
For all that has changed since its begining, Caphyon remains as committed to offering the highest-quality software products as it did from the first day the lights went on in our small office building. It is that recognition of what got us here that will keep us here for a long time to come.
How can I be sure you'll be around six months from now?
Caphyon has a solid business plan and a vision for the next five to ten years of operation at all times. Our strong international customer base, successful reseller programs, and diversified services help ensure that we will be going strong indefinitely into the future.
The company has been profitable since February 2003, and those profits are continually reinvested in the business. We do not have any outside investors, equity financing, nor long-term debt. Several acquisition overtures have been politely declined in the past several years. We are in business for long-term, not a quick buck. Moreover, we have seen what sometimes happens to customers after a company is acquired.
